Money Holder Graduation Cards

Quick post...I had two graduations to attend last month.  One of my cousins graduated from UH and the other cousin graduated from high school.  Here are the money holder cards I made for them...super simple and fast!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you're enjoying you week!

Graduation Cap Card

We recently celebrated our cousin's high school graduation. I always find it so challenging to make cards for guys...and this was no exception. Luckily, I visited Eunice's blog and saw the graduation cards she had made and became inspired. Mines is definitely a lot more plain than hers since I didn't have much time to work on it, but it served its purpose. This was such a fun card to make and I know I'll be making it again! Thank you Eunice for the inspiration!!

Graduation Ian Card

I was blog hopping again and ran across Enjoli's Stamping Under the Sun blog with the graduation money cards she made...loved it! So I went onto YouTube and found a tutorial for it. Well my 4 year old son was watching the tutorial with me and wanted me to make one too! Since I wasn't really "feeling" the graduation slider card I made for my husband's cousin, I thought I'd make this money card for him instead. I have no clue if the high school's in Japan have school colors like the ones here so I just let my son choose the colors for this one. We'll probably give more than a dollar (haha!) but that's all I had in my wallet at the time!

Graduation Slider Card

I just remembered that I needed to make yet another graduation card for my husband's cousin who just graduated from high school in Japan! I was on the Splitcoaststampers website and stumbled upon the tutorial to make this slider card and thought it would be perfect for a graduation card!

Blue and Yellow Graduation Card

Here's a card I made recently for my cousin's high school graduation. Blue and gold are the school colors (but yellow is always substituted...I'm also an alumni from the same high school). I had difficulty finding graduation paper at my local craft stores so I made my own (personalized) paper at home. I got inspiration or this card off of the Cricut MB (thank you!).

I would have liked to make the cap blue or some color to stand out but the high school graduates in white caps & gowns (and I wanted to stay true to that so it's a bit more personalized)
(the little pocket is for a monetary gift)
