Tsunami Day Project
Since we had a tsunami warning here on Saturday, my husband was called into work at like 3:30 a.m. That left me at home alone with the kids. The kids were keeping busy by watching cartoons and playing together while I tried to stay informed to the status of the tsunami by watching the news. It's never a good feeling when you don't have your entire family together during times like these. Anyways, since the kids were being "good", it gave me the opportunity to do a little crafting. I found the tutorial for this luminary here and just added a cover to it. I was actually going to add a handle to it but then decided to put a cover on it instead. And I just so happened to have some flameless tealights at home so I was able to light this up right away. This was such a fun project to work on and it came together really fast!

Yet Another One
I know, I know, not another one...LOL! Sorry, I really love making these easel boxes and I actually pre-made a few of the box part of these..I just needed to decorate them. I made this one for my mom for Valentine's Day. Her favorite color is purple so it worked out perfect since I already had a pre-made purple box! I was able to throw this together in no time! :-)

Another Easel Box
I made this easel box for a family friend who is visiting from Japan. She and her husband come to Hawaii at least twice a year and stay for months each time they are here. They are very sweet and generous people who even send goodies to my family throughout the year. She really liked the easel box that I just made for my MIL so I thought I'd make one for her too. I hope she likes it.

Birthday Cards
A few of my GF's just had birthdays. Their birthdays are actually like a week and a half apart. Since I've been trying to get back into my crafting, I decided to make them cards. I had to come up with these quick as we were getting together for breakfast to celebrate their birthdays and I was making these at like midnight the night before! They are very simple....I would have added more "bling" to them but honestly, I was just too tired! *YAWN*

Valentine's Day Gifts
Here are a couple of gifts I made for Valentine's Day. I really have not had the energy to craft lately, but I did manage to push out a couple of gifts using some of the new SU! supplies I've been wanting to use.
Okay, hopefully these projects jumpstart my crafting again. Maybe, too, since my DH is back from his work trip I'll have more time to craft! (fingers crossed)! :-)
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
I was feeling on top of things last month. I thought to myself I'd get a head start on Valentine's Day gifts and actually made this box for my GF Brenda like weeks before, and yet she still beat me in getting her gift to me. I'm telling you, my time management skills....LOL!
This is a photo cube that I made for my husband (from our kiddies). We filled it with M&M's. I found the tutorial on SCS.
I just love making these easel boxes and since I've never made one for my MIL, I thought it would be the perfect Valentine's Day gift for her from her grandbabies.Okay, hopefully these projects jumpstart my crafting again. Spiderman Birthday Party
My son recently turned 5 years old (I still can't believe it). He chose Spiderman this year for his birthday party theme. That worked out great for me because it gave me the opportunity to use some of the SU! Sweet Treat Cups that I had bought a while ago.
I remembered seeing these great spider favors on numerous blogs during Halloween and thought they would be perfect little favors for my son's party. And here are the simple goodie bags I made for the kiddies
Don't look too closely at the goodie bags. I really don't know how to use the stamping wheels well yet....or more like I don't have the patience to align it properly so I just go for it! hehehe!
