Kokeshi Doll Card

This was initially supposed to be a birthday card but I couldn't find my "Happy Birthday" stamp anywhere! That's what happens when I leave my stamps in the reach of my daughter...although I don't really have a choice since my craft area is my dining table!! Anyways, this card didn't go as I had planned but I think it came out okay anyway.I ended up layering the kokeshi doll image because I smuged up my initial stamped image and didn't want to waste it so I just stamped a duplicate image and layered it on top! My second attempt at stamping it didn't come out clean either but I thought layering it one more time would be stretching it! ha! :-)
(I definitely need some Copic marker lessons...that's what I used to color her!) As a last minute effect, I added some Stickles to her kimono...more because I just bought my first bottle of it and I wanted to use it (never used it before...told you I'm a newbie!) :-)

TFS!!

So cute! Love the way you colored her & mounted it on to the card. Stickles are fun to use, you'll get hooked...

Cute! Like the DP & very clever mounting a 2nd image over the smudged one. Stickles are the best, so easy to use!
