Birthday Shaker Card

Here's the birthday card I made for my MIL recently. I so suck at making shakers but I knew my MIL would appreciate my effort. I definitely need more practice making these. This card took me way too long to make and I almost scrapped it all together but in the end, I was able to salvage it! Joy (aka the shaker queen), you are my idol!! :-)

My First Shaker Card

I've been admiring all those shaker cards out there for a while. Since my SIL's birthday was this past week (and it's her Yakudoshi year), I thought it would be the perfect time to give it a try. However, even though I started her card a few weeks ago, I kept putting off finishing it up. Before you know it, it was a few hours before we had to leave for her party and I was rushing to try and finish it up...OOPS! Anyways, that's why it turned out so plain looking...I just ran out of time! :-(
